NOMINATE SOMEONE YOU KNOW TODAY:

Unsung Hero: Criteria for award: Unsung Hero award nominees are typically someone who has toiled away for years in their jobs doing what may appear to be laborious regular tasks. However, without them your company and the maritime industry would not be able to succeed.

Leadership Award: Criteria for award: Leadership award nominees need not be from management but should have some type of supervisory authority. They will have done something to exemplify leadership among their peers. It could be safety related or continuously exceeding production goals. Something remarkable that makes this person a standout leader.

Dave Sessums Maritime Education Award: A Dave Sessums Maritime Education Award nominee is someone who has actively worked to foster growth of the next generation of maritime employees. The candidate may be a teacher, a former student, an industry person, or anyone who has promoted and supported student learning about the maritime industry (e.g., learning through the maritime education system, mentoring, job shadowing, site visits, participation in Propeller Club maritime education activities).
